Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal have launched an anti-drug initiative aimed at educating school students about the dangers of drug abuse. This is part of a broader 'war against drugs' campaign impacting over eight lakh students.

The curriculum, titled 'Yudh Nashian Virudh' (war against drugs), will be rolled out in government schools for classes 9 to 12. Students will engage in 35-minute sessions, covering topics like myth-busting, refusal strategies, and resisting peer pressure, over a span of 27 weeks.

In addition to educational efforts, the Punjab government has taken action against drug traffickers, seizing properties and recovering significant amounts of illegal substances. The initiative represents a step forward in transforming the state's battle against drugs into a mass movement.
