Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has underscored the importance of empowering the state's youth with knowledge, opportunities, and a clear vision to realize a 'Viksit Arunachal'. Addressing the zonal final of the 'Battle of Minds' quiz competition, Mein reaffirmed the government's strong commitment to cultivating a skilled and confident youth.
The event, orchestrated by the Youth Affairs department, witnessed an impressive turnout, with participation skyrocketing to 343 school teams compared to 53 in the inaugural edition. This surge illustrates the burgeoning intellectual curiosity and competitive zeal among students in the region.
Mein praised the department for creating such a significant platform, noting that it not only promotes quizzing but also fosters leadership qualities, teamwork, and academic excellence. He encouraged students to dream ambitiously, remain disciplined, and pursue their objectives with clarity. The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya team from Chimpu clinched the zonal final, advancing to state-level semi-finals and finals scheduled for the upcoming months. The event also saw the presence of several dignitaries, including State Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Kento Jini.
