Lithuania's Drone Schools: Preparing the Next Generation for Defense
Lithuania has launched drone training schools for both children and adults as part of its military defenses. These schools aim to enhance the country's preparedness against neighboring threats from Russia and Belarus by teaching participants how to operate various types of drones effectively.

In an effort to strengthen its military defenses, Lithuania has introduced drone training schools for children and adults alike. This initiative aims to enhance the country's preparedness against potential threats from neighboring Russia and Belarus.
Deputy Defence Minister Tomas Godliauskas emphasized the importance of these training centers, which will teach participants how to fly, assemble, and program various types of drones, including First Person View (FPV), quadcopters, and single-wing drones.
At a school near the Russian Kaliningrad enclave, children engage in virtual flights and practical exercises under the supervision of teachers. The schools underline Lithuania's commitment to fortifying its defenses, as evidenced by its call for NATO to boost air defense and recent actions taken by NATO to protect Europe's eastern flank.
