The British School New Delhi recently commemorated its 20-year journey with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) through a notable event titled 'IB@20: Inspiring Futures'. The milestone celebration took place on Tuesday, 16 September, drawing together educators, industry leaders, diplomats, and distinguished guests, including Dr Shashi Tharoor as the Chief Guest.
In his keynote address, Dr. Tharoor, a Member of Parliament and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs, spoke compellingly about leadership and geopolitics. Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General of the IB, also extended his congratulations via a special video message, praising the school's achievements.
The evening featured artistic performances by talented IBDP students and inspiring talks from alumni, underscoring the transformative impact of the programme.
