Galgotias University has unveiled the Galgotias Innovation Fund (GIF), an ambitious INR 10 Crore investment initiative aimed at fostering high-potential startups from its own ecosystem. This fund enhances an already robust innovation framework at the University, providing students with access to state-of-the-art facilities and industry-linked mentorship.
The existing startup ecosystem at Galgotias University is thriving, with the Galgotias Incubation Centre for Research Innovation Startups & Entrepreneurs (GICRISE) having supported 135 startups, 30 of which are already generating revenue. The University has partnered with industry leaders like HP, Intel, Cisco, and others to provide practical learning experiences, from ideation to market readiness.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University, emphasized that combining talent, technology, mentorship, and capital accelerates innovation. The GIF supports ventures in various sectors like artificial intelligence, health technology, and fintech, aiming to turn promising ideas into successful enterprises.
