With the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) set for May 3, Tamil Nadu steps up support for aspirants by launching a round-the-clock helpline. The resource aims to aid mental health for the 22.79 lakh candidates nationwide, including 1.5 lakh from Tamil Nadu.
Dubbed the 'Natpudan Ungalodu' initiative, the effort focuses on providing tele-counseling services to students and their families. Secretary sources stated that this service seeks to shield students from stress as they prepare for this crucial examination.
Accessible through helpline numbers 14416 or 104, the service is free and managed by trained counselors. The availability of professional support underscores the government's commitment to ensuring the mental well-being of its young citizens.
