The National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the ruling Congress party, organized protests across Karnataka on Wednesday following the controversial cancellation of the NEET examination due to an alleged paper leak.
Protestors in cities including Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Raichur voiced their discontent, accusing the authorities of failing in their duty to protect the integrity of the national entrance test. They have demanded strict measures against those responsible for compromising the exam's fairness.
Participants in the protest, which also targeted the Union Government, criticized the recurring examination controversies and expressed concern over the emotional and academic toll on students, advocating for a transparent and reliable examination system in the future.
