NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak Sparks Call for Exam Reform

The Federation of Resident Doctors' Association (FORDA) has petitioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, demanding strict repercussions for those implicated in the alleged leak of NEET-UG 2026's exam paper and advocating for a shift to a computer-based test system.

Following the NEET-UG examination held on May 3, accusations of paper leaks prompted an investigation by Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group. Consequently, the National Testing Agency annulled the test and pledged a retest, prioritizing transparency and trust in national assessments.

FORDA, criticizing the leak as a 'moral and institutional catastrophe,' pointed out persistent systemic failures in national exams. It called for stringent penalties and systemic reforms, suggesting a move to a computer-based model like IIT-JEE Advanced for better integrity.
