Teacher Suspended Amid Allegations of Molesting Student

A government school teacher in Pilibhit has been suspended following allegations of molesting a Class five girl in the Marouri block area, officials confirmed on Sunday.

Pilibhit District Basic Education Officer Roshni Singh stated that teacher Mohan Swaroop was immediately suspended due to the serious nature of the allegations discovered against him. A departmental committee has been formed to investigate further.

According to reports, the teacher allegedly lured the minor into the school toilet on the pretext of work and molested her. The girl's family revealed the incident after she recounted threats made by the teacher to remain silent. The investigation is ongoing.
