In a scathing criticism, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday condemned Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the alleged mishandling of the education sector amid the NEET-UG paper leak and CBSE evaluation controversies. Gandhi lambasted the government's silence and demanded an apology from PM Modi for jeopardizing students' futures.
Gandhi highlighted repeated paper leaks during Pradhan's tenure, affecting a vast number of students across different age groups. He pointed out that recent sudden policy shifts, such as the introduction of a three-language policy for Class 9 students, have further compounded educational challenges.
The Leader of Opposition accused the Ministry of Education of becoming a department of disasters, urging PM Modi to dismiss Pradhan. This call comes as part of broader critiques of the education system under BJP and RSS influence, which Gandhi claims has damaged India's educational fabric.
