The National Testing Agency has announced the rescheduling of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) for 2026. The new exam dates are set for May 31, June 6, and June 7, after they were initially deferred due to the celebrations of Eid-ul-Azha.
Admit cards for candidates scheduled to take the exam on May 31 are now available for download on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in. The NTA has assured that admit cards for the remaining dates will be released shortly and advised candidates to stay informed through regular updates on their site.
The CUET-UG was introduced in 2022 as part of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, replacing multiple university entrance exams with a single standardized assessment. The aim is to offer students equal opportunities by evaluating them on language proficiency, domain-specific knowledge, and general aptitude.
