Delhi University is poised to commence the registration process for its newly launched one-year postgraduate programs. The registration is restricted to DU students who have completed a four-year bachelor's degree with research, entrepreneurship, or a major in the relevant subject, as per the NEP 2020.

While admissions for two-year PG programs will continue via the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG), the one-year program is an exclusive offering for DU's own students. Dean of admission, Haneet Gandhi, confirmed that a separate online portal is set to facilitate these registrations very soon.

Gandhi also explained that students with four-year undergraduate degrees can apply for both one-year and two-year courses, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Registration for the existing two-year programs, opened on May 16, remains active until June 7, with a new system integrating candidate credentials through DigiLocker or API Setu platforms.

DU also offers students the opportunity to alter their social category post-integration. As part of the allocation process, reminders have been issued for students to prioritize subject preferences during applications. Once fees are paid, DU will announce the schedule for the first allocation round, with further options allowing students to upgrade or freeze their allocations subsequently.
