Hannah Einbinder of 'Hacks' fame and the acclaimed Gillian Anderson, renowned for her role in 'Sex Education', have joined forces for Jane Schoenbrun's latest cinematic venture, 'Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma'. According to Deadline, production is set to commence this summer in British Columbia.

Einbinder shared her enthusiasm on Instagram, revealing her excitement for the project. The film reboots the notorious Camp Miasma slasher series, introducing a new narrative twist when the latest film's director becomes infatuated with a mysterious actress from the original movie.

Plan B is overseeing production with Daniel Bekerman from Scythia Films serving as executive producer. Mubi is providing financing and handling distribution across several major markets including North America and parts of Europe and Asia, while The Match Factory manages worldwide sales. Director Schoenbrun described the project as an "insane yet cozy midnight odyssey," expressing excitement to collaborate with a talented team.
