The BJP Krushak Morcha is set to organize large-scale farmers' rallies across Odisha, aiming to honor Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for his contribution to doubling the income of cultivators. Beginning Tuesday, these events will underscore the state's commitment to agricultural progress.

Since assuming office in June last year, Majhi has ardently worked towards the welfare of farmers, earning him accolades from Morcha president Maheshwar Sahu. Rallies are scheduled across various districts, including Chandbali, Karanjia, and Jagatsinghpur, extending through May 31 in Dhenkanal.

The rallies will see participation from Chief Minister Majhi, Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Krishna Chandra Patra, and other state and central BJP dignitaries. The government has notably increased the Minimum Support Price for paddy to benefit farmers financially, ensuring better procurement rates than those offered by the central government.
