Actor Preity Zinta took to social media platform X on Tuesday to address a netizen's distasteful inquiry during an interactive session. The user jokingly suggested that cricketer Glenn Maxwell's subpar performance in IPL 2025 for Punjab Kings (PBKS) was due to the cricketer and Zinta not marrying.
Zinta's response was swift and firm, urging the commenter to respect her and abandon gender-biased notions. She questioned if such remarks were directed at male team owners, highlighting discrimination against women. Zinta stressed her hard-earned success over 18 years and called for respect.
Currently, Zinta's team PBKS stands strong in the IPL, securing third place with seven wins, three losses, and a no-result, totaling 15 points. Key players Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya have performed exceptionally, making PBKS a formidable contender as they prepare to face Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on May 18.
