Empowering Youth: Amadeus and Alliance Expand Hospitality Job Initiative
Amadeus and the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance enhance their Employability Program partnership. Targeting youth, the initiative aims to build skills needed for careers in hospitality. Launched in India, the project involves mentoring, financial aid, and software training, empowering over 200 disadvantaged youth and improving job access in the sector.
Amadeus, a key player in the travel and tourism sector, has teamed up with the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance to expand their Employability Program globally. This initiative focuses on equipping young people, particularly in disadvantaged communities, with necessary skills to thrive in the hospitality industry.
Launched as a pilot project in India this April, the program collaborates with local NGO Kherwadi to assist 200 young people in cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai. Amadeus contributes not only financially but also through its employees' mentoring and hospitality software training.
Currently active in three countries, the program has already helped over 6,000 enter the industry. The partnership underscores the commitment of both organizations to remove employment barriers and promote inclusivity in the hospitality sector, aiming to create lasting social impact.
