Union Minister Promises Safety and Conservation for Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims

Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has reassured the public about the safety of the Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, emphasizing that the government guarantees top security for this spiritual journey. During his visit to Kashmir, Shekhawat stressed the importance of appreciating the region's cultural and historical significance. He conducted tours of historic sites, including the Martand Sun Temple and the Avanti Swami temple, underlining the area's rich heritage and echoing his confidence in the valley's safety for tourists.

In a meeting with Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Shekhawat discussed strategic plans to enhance tourism infrastructure and heritage site promotion, aiming to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities.
