Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently reminisced about his infamous rivalry with fellow action star Sylvester Stallone during an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM's Radio Andy. Schwarzenegger, 77, confessed, "We hated each other," highlighting their intense competition in the 1980s, as described by People magazine.

The iconic duo clashed frequently as they rose to fame in Hollywood for their roles in action films. However, that animosity eventually transformed into camaraderie, culminating in their joint appearance in the 2013 film Escape Plan and various entries in The Expendables franchise, according to People.

Schwarzenegger chronicled how a business venture unexpectedly brought them together. While working on the Planet Hollywood project with Robert Earl and Keith Parish, Schwarzenegger's lawyer, who also represented Stallone, inquired about including Stallone in the venture. "Sure enough, we made it work," noted Schwarzenegger about their collaboration.

The venture also attracted other celebrities like Bruce Willis, Whoopi Goldberg, and Chuck Norris. Reflecting on their past during a joint interview for TMZ Presents: Arnold & Sly: Rivals, Friends, Icons, Stallone admitted that Schwarzenegger's entry into Hollywood fueled his competitive spirit, viewing him as motivation and competition.

Both actors have acknowledged the beneficial push the rivalry gave their careers. Recently, Arnold has shifted his focus back to entertainment, with the second season of his Netflix action comedy Fubar premiering on June 12 and a holiday movie titled The Man with the Bag in the pipeline. (ANI)
