In a high-profile court appearance, Grammy-winning artist Chris Brown formally pleaded not guilty to grievous charges stemming from an alleged attack on a music producer at a famed nightclub in London this February. The singer appeared at Southwark Crown Court donning a blue suit, white shirt, and black-rimmed glasses.
The serious charge accuses Brown, 36, of trying to cause grievous bodily harm to Abe Diaw, accompanied by his friend and fellow musician Omololu Akinlolu, known as 'Hoody Baby,' who also maintains his innocence. Prosecutors argue that the two musicians initiated an unprovoked attack on Diaw, with the violent incident captured on the club's surveillance cameras.
The uproar hasn't halted Brown's career trajectory, as he embarks on his 'Breezy Bowl XX' tour across Europe, recently securing bail of 5 million pounds. Despite facing an impending trial in 2026, Brown, currently touring the UK, remains a prominent figure in the R&B music scene.
