The Archaeological Survey of India is set to host yoga sessions at 81 monumental sites nationwide, marking the International Day of Yoga. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the celebrations at the historic stepwell Adalaj Vav near Ahmedabad.

In celebration of IDY, entry to all ASI sites will be free on June 21, confirmed the Ministry of Culture. Thousands will participate in yoga at historic landmarks, promoting holistic health and environmental consciousness rooted in yoga.

The main IDY event, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be held in Visakhapatnam. The ASI, collaborating with the Ministry of Ayush, aims to harmonize India's cultural legacy and wellness traditions under the theme 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health.'
