Dave Bautista Steps into Action: 'Road House 2' on Horizon

Actor and former wrestler Dave Bautista is currently in negotiations to join the cast of 'Road House 2', according to reports by Variety. The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star is being considered for a role in the Amazon MGM Studios project.

'Road House 2' serves as a sequel to the 2024 reboot, which saw Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role. The sequel's direction is helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Guy Ritchie, with Gyllenhaal set to reprise his iconic role of Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter.

The original film, released in 2006 and directed by Scott Ziehi, featured Johnathon Schaech as the lead protagonist. Charles Roven and Alex Gartner produce the upcoming sequel under Atlas Entertainment, alongside Gyllenhaal's Nine Stories Productions. The previous installment received positive reviews, setting high expectations for its successor.
