Highlighting yoga's international reach, Murmu cited Kuwaiti practitioner Sheikha Shaikha Ali Al-Jaber Al Sabah's contributions to cultural unity through yoga, recognized by India's Padma Shri award. Murmu urged global communities to adopt yoga for mental and physical health, stressing its non-religious essence.
During her Uttarakhand visit, Murmu, alongside Governor Gurmit Singh, reinforced yoga as India's timeless gift to the world. Minister Subodh Uniyal noted the diverse participants performing yoga asanas, showcasing the practice's universal appeal and health benefits.
