At the 'Eruption–2025' inter-college fest, Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla highlighted the transformative power of dental professionals in spreading genuine smiles. The event, held at the Government Dental College and Hospital in Shimla, marked a celebration of both academic and cultural excellence.
Governor Shukla praised the institution's contribution to developing skilled dental professionals since 1994. He suggested that dental education transcends professional boundaries, advocating for a practice rooted in empathy and up-to-date with emerging technologies. In recognition of students' cultural performances, the governor announced a Rs 2 lakh donation to foster their artistic talents.
The governor also reiterated his commitment to the state's anti-drug campaign inspired by Prime Minister Modi's vision, urging the youth to combat drug exploitation. Principal Dr. Ashu Gupta offered insights into the college's comprehensive academic and extracurricular programs.
