Tripura witnessed the inauguration of the weeklong 'Kharchi' Puja by Chief Minister Manik Saha at the Chaturdash Devta temple. This significant festival, rooted in tradition, is dedicated to the worship of 14 deities and celebrates the cleansing of the earth after impurity.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda extended their warm wishes to the people of Tripura, emphasizing hopes for prosperity and solidifying bonds with Mother Earth.
The state government is keen on preserving the traditions of the 19 tribal communities. Initiatives include a Rs 32.50 crore cultural hub and budget allocations for traditional music instruments and temple infrastructure improvements, showcasing a commitment to cultural enrichment.
