British actor Marisa Abela, renowned for her role in the 'Industry' series, is now part of the anticipated Amazon MGM's remake of the 1980s cult classic 'Highlander'. The Hollywood Reporter reveals she will join an ensemble cast that includes Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe.
Chad Stahelski, celebrated for his directorial work on the 'John Wick' franchise, will oversee the project. The script, penned by Michael Finch, is supported by Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists.
The original 'Highlander', directed by Russell Mulcahy in 1986, told the tale of an immortal Scottish swordsman embroiled in a battle against wicked immortals.
