In a progressive move towards inclusivity, Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Maharashtra's Chandrapur has inaugurated six women's facilitation centres, according to an official report on Monday.
These centres aim to provide a safe, clean, and supportive setting for female staff at TATR, featuring vital facilities such as changing rooms, designated breastfeeding areas, children's play zones, rest areas, toilets, and sanitary pad vending machines. The initiative underscores the reserve's commitment to empowering women and fostering a supportive work environment.
Located strategically at Tadoba (Core) Divisional Office and within forest ranges in Moharli, Kolara, Kolsa, Tadoba, and Karwa, the facilities were inaugurated virtually by state forest minister, Ganesh Naik, marking a significant step forward in the administration's dedication to its female workforce.
