This year's Amarnath Yatra has marked a significant milestone, with the pilgrimage surpassing the 3.5 lakh mark, according to officials. Over 9,000 dedicated pilgrims offered their prayers to Lord Shiva at the sacred cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas on Thursday.

Officials reported that on this day alone, 9,482 pilgrims performed rituals at the 3,800-metre-high holy cave. The group comprised 6,805 males, 2,130 females, 4 transgenders, 137 children, 73 sadhus, 3 sadhvis, and 330 security personnel.

Since the commencement of the yatra on July 3, a remarkable total of 3,52,139 devotees have visited the revered shrine, highlighting the deep spiritual resonance and enduring appeal of this annual journey.
