Jharkhand's capital, Ranchi, is set to host the inaugural defence exposition 'EASTTECH 2025' from September 17 to 19, according to official sources. The event signifies a pivotal advancement towards achieving defence self-reliance and industrial expansion in the eastern sector of India.
The announcement was made by Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth via a post, highlighting the expo's status as Jharkhand's first major defence-related event. The defence ministry emphasized the expo's role in strengthening the regional industrial ecosystem.
With participation from over 200 companies and 50 MSME sectors, EASTTECH 2025 is anticipated to significantly bolster startups and innovation while invigorating local industries, marking a crucial step towards strategic self-sufficiency.
