Billie Lourd, renowned for her role as Lieutenant Connix in the ''Star Wars'' trilogy, is the latest to join Amazon MGM Studios' AI-themed film ''Artificial''. The comedic drama, directed by Luca Guadagnino, features an ensemble cast with Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro already announced.
The film ''Artificial'' explores the chaotic events at OpenAI in 2023 when CEO Sam Altman was controversially fired and quickly rehired. The plot delves into internal turmoil marked by safety concerns over AI and allegations of abuse, highlighting the roles played by top executives such as Mira Murati and Ilya Sutskever.
