Japan Preschool Exchange (JPE) invites families worldwide to immerse themselves in the authentic everyday experiences of Japanese preschools, ranging from snowy play to rice harvesting. Open to participants for up to three weeks with no requirement for Japanese language skill, the program collaborates with over 30 preschools to foster sustainable local engagement.
In an exciting collaboration, JPE partners with Peppa Pig, a well-loved brand by Hasbro, to promote cross-cultural learning. Families who register between August 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026, receive a Peppa Pig Welcome Digital Guide packed with activities, encouraging collective family adventures in the unique setting of Japanese preschools.
Founded by CEO Masaya Yamamoto, inspired by his personal experience in Hokkaido, JPE supports educational trips for school groups, contributing to a vast network of cultural exchange. KitchHike, the studio behind JPE, focuses on innovative rural development, seeing these communities as models for future global sustainability.
