Expressing her excitement about reaching Australian audiences, Bhowmik hopes the film will receive appreciation at such a prestigious event. The IFFM 2025 is scheduled to present a wide array of Indian cinema, from feature films to documentaries, between August 14 and 24, with 'Ahana' slated for screening on the final day.
Additionally, 'Ahana' has already garnered attention by securing spots in several international competition sections, including the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival and the Kolkata International Film Festival. The film has also won an 'Honourable Jury Mention Award' at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2025. Theatrical release is set for September 5.
