Union Home Minister Amit Shah will spearhead the commencement of the Janki Mandir redevelopment in Sitamarhi, Bihar, on August 8. Esteemed as the birthplace of Goddess Sita, this landmark project has a budget exceeding Rs 882.87 crore and promises a significant transformation of the region's infrastructure.
The ceremony will also see the presence of Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and several Union ministers. The state cabinet recently approved the necessary funds, with the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation tasked with its implementation. Notably, the project incorporates comprehensive maintenance for a decade, ensuring its long-term viability.
