Lakhs of devotees worldwide gathered in Mathura on Saturday for Janmashtami, eager to witness the grandeur at Lord Krishna's birthplace. Crowds began queuing early Saturday morning at the Bhagwat Bhavan complex, showcasing the fervor of the occasion.
The Braj region embraced the celebration with unparalleled enthusiasm, especially at the Radha Krishna temple. Throughout Mathura, streets were adorned for the festivities, with vibrant 'Krishna Leela' art installations adding selfie opportunities.
Cultural performances featuring Awadhi, Bundelkhandi, Rajasthani, and Haryanvi traditions captivated attendees. In addition to safety measures, refreshments were freely provided, ensuring a seamless experience for the devotees in this momentous event.
