The incident occurred on a Saturday evening in Zone 6, and after an hour of being stranded, park authorities escorted the tourists out. The park administration responded quickly, promising a thorough investigation into the matter.

According to Deputy Conservator of Forests Pramod Dhakad, the individuals involved, including three canter drivers and the guide, have been restricted from park entry pending a detailed inquiry. Assistant Conservator of Forests Ashwini Pratap has been tasked with conducting the investigation.
