More than 1,300 unique gifts presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi are featured in an upcoming e-auction, slated to commence on September 17. The selection includes an array of cultural artifacts, traditional Indian art, and sports memorabilia, including items from the Paralympic Games 2024. The initiative aims to raise funds for the Namami Gange project.

The auction coincides with Modi's 75th birthday, extending until October 2. Launched at the National Gallery of Modern Art by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, this seventh edition builds on past success, which has previously garnered contributions exceeding Rs 50 crore for the river conservation initiative.

The e-auction offers a diverse collection that embodies India's rich cultural heritage, including a Tanjore painting, a Nataraja statue, and a handwoven Naga shawl. The event invites citizens to purchase pieces of history while contributing to the monumental task of Ganga rejuvenation.
