Taneira, the ethnic wear arm of Titan, is anticipating a strong 30% growth in sales this festive season, driven by robust consumer demand, CEO Ambuj Narayan announced. He expects the brand to turn profitable in the next 2-3 years as it continues to expand its retail and online presence.
With a strategy focused on metros and tier-I cities, Taneira aims to open 15 to 20 new stores each year. The brand, which currently operates 80 stores across 40 cities and offers online shopping, is investing Rs 3 crore per new store.
Taneira's future plans include targeting younger consumers through its ready-to-wear collections and potentially exploring overseas markets. Currently, sarees dominate sales, but Taneira expects online channels to contribute significantly to its revenue growth.
