Japanese pop sensation JO1 is set to make its inaugural visit to India, marking a pivotal moment in the band's international outreach.
The 11-member group, formed in 2019 under Lapone Entertainment, has quickly risen to fame with hits like 'Tiger' and 'Venus'. Members Mame and Shosei will land in Mumbai on Friday for a five-day visit, where they are scheduled to engage with key entertainment and cultural figures and explore the city's iconic landmarks such as the Gateway of India and Marine Drive.
This visit comes after J-pop's world tour in early 2025, which saw them performing in multiple countries, including Japan, USA, Seoul, Beijing, Bangkok, and Taipei, underlining their growing global influence.
