Ajey: A Screen Chronicle of Yogi Adityanath's Journey

Debuting across 500 Indian screens and 150 international theaters, "Ajey: The Untold Story Of a Yogi," directed by Ravindra Gautam, takes audiences on a cinematic journey through the life of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The film explores his path from a dedicated science student to a revered monk and political leader.

Overcoming initial roadblocks due to objections from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film was finally released after a favorable Bombay High Court ruling. Director Ravindra Gautam and producer Ajay Mengi express confidence in the film's commercial potential, with audiences in cities like Lucknow and Varanasi showing enthusiastic responses during screenings.

Based on Shantanu Gupta's book "The Monk Who Became Chief Minister," extensive research, including consultations with Adityanath's family and visits to his native places, underpinned the film's development. The cast, including Anant Joshi and Bhojpuri star Dinesh Lal Yadav 'Nirahua,' endeavors to authentically portray the influential leader's life, supported by veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Pavan Malhotra.
