BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has appealed to the Himachal Pradesh government for a relief package targeting the struggling tourism industry, which has suffered significantly due to the recent monsoon disasters.
While visiting various locations in the Kullu assembly constituency, she interacted with affected families and inaugurated a Seva Pakhwada blood donation camp. She noted severe disruptions facing hoteliers, cab drivers, small shop owners, and other stakeholders as a result of the tourism downturn.
Ranaut further highlighted infrastructural challenges, such as poor road conditions. She called for prompt road clearance work, criticizing state leaders' alleged distractions and the media's negative portrayal. As she advocated for patience and balance in reporting, Ranaut concluded by supporting religious sentiments in the ongoing Bijli Mahadev Ropeway project protest.
