Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a review of the under-construction National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) situated in Lothal, Ahmedabad district, on Saturday.
A video released by the Prime Minister's Office depicted Modi assessing the multi-billion rupee project, which holds significant historical and cultural value.
Lothal, identified as an ancient trading hub dating back 5,000 years to the Indus Valley Civilization, once served as a major port. Officials noted that the NMHC aims to celebrate this rich maritime heritage.
