Anurag Thakur Honors Gandhi and Shastri: A Day of Reflection and Action

Former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, commemorating their birth anniversary in Awahdevi on Thursday.

Thakur expressed the nation's respect for Gandhi and Shastri, highlighting Gandhi's principles of non-violence and truth that propelled India's freedom struggle, and Shastri's call of 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,' a lasting inspiration for the country.

Concluding the BJP's Seva Pakhwada campaign, Thakur led a rally educating shopkeepers on GST reforms and took part in a cleanliness drive at Samirpur market, urging citizens to strive for a cleaner, self-reliant India alongside district BJP President Rakesh Thakur and other leaders.
