Vibrant Farewell: Durga Immersion at Raj Bhavan

An air of unity and devotion enveloped the Raj Bhavan in Lucknow on Thursday, marking the immersion of the idol of Goddess Durga on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.

Presided over by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, the event unfolded with traditional rituals including a puja and aarti, resonating through the air with the sound of traditional drums and devotional songs.

Conducted within the premises near the cowshed, the ceremony was a collective emotional farewell to the deity that saw a diverse gathering of officials, staff, residents, and children, who partook in the spirited festivities.
