A former National Security Guard (NSG) commando, Bajrang Singh, known for his role in the 26/11 anti-terror operation, has been apprehended in Rajasthan. Authorities allege his involvement as a major player in a cannabis smuggling operation.

Singh, arrested in the Churu district of Rajasthan, reportedly coordinated the transport of marijuana from Telangana and Odisha. The operation, termed 'Operation Gaanjaney,' was successfully executed by the state's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF)

The significant breakthrough was aided by critical intelligence on Singh's trusted associates. His arrest is expected to significantly disrupt illegal drug trafficking in the region, authorities confirmed.
