Telangana Glows with Tradition: Vijaya Dasami & Bathukamma Festivities Shine

Vijaya Dasami celebrations filled Telangana with traditional fervor and deep devotion on Thursday. Devotees across the region engaged in prayers both at home and in temples, with a major turnout observed at the Bhadrakali temple in Warangal.

The festivities saw participation from several political figures, including Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who marked 'Ayudha Puja' at his residence and later joined the celebrations in his native village Kondareddypalli. The Chief Minister was welcomed warmly by villagers as he offered prayers at local temples.

The state government organized the Bathukamma festival, coinciding with Navratri, on a grand scale, culminating in two new Guinness World Records for 'tallest Bathukamma' and 'largest Telangana folk dance'. These cultural events highlighted the rich traditions of the region.
