The Tripura government is gearing up for the fourth edition of the 'Mayer Gamon carnival', a vibrant procession celebrating Durga idols from top pujas across the state. The event is set to take place on Saturday, inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Saha, and promises to showcase at least 40 community pujas.
Alongside the visually stunning procession, participants will compete for trophies, citations, and cash awards, with a panel of judges evaluating the presentations. The celebrations don't stop here, as preparations are also underway for 'Sarad Samman' on October 11, where 43 clubs will be acknowledged for their successful Durga Puja events.
