A tragic incident unfolded at SV Zoological Park in Tirupati, where a 15-year-old jaguar named Kusha met an untimely death while attempting to climb a tree in his enclosure.

Transferred from Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad in 2013, Kusha was a cherished resident of the Tirupati zoo. On Tuesday, zoo officials announced his demise, recounting a series of unfortunate events that led to the tragic outcome.

The jaguar accidently got entangled during his climb and, despite immediate intervention from zoo staff and the veterinary team, he couldn't be saved.
