During a visit to the United States, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale stressed the importance of loyalty and citizenship among the Indian diaspora. Speaking to PTI, he highlighted the need for Hindus to demonstrate their potential to contribute to local societies and assume leadership roles.
Hosabale addressed misconceptions concerning the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a result of prolonged propaganda branding the organization as Hindu supremacist. As it marks its centenary, RSS is keen to correct these narratives and highlight India's positive representations globally.
Connecting with opinion-makers, academic circles, and the diaspora, Hosabale noted the new generation's growing interest in cultural roots and commitments, signified through participation in Hindu organizations and activities like Yoga and Bhajans.
