The arrival area of Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru now hosts a new monumental sculpture dubbed 'Bengaluru's Soul'. Unveiled by Spanish Ambassador Juan Antonio March Pujol, this artwork is a creation by renowned Spanish artist Jaume Plensa.
BIAL and Biocon Foundation celebrated this artistic addition, highlighting its significance in mirroring Bengaluru's diverse culture and innovative spirit. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson of Biocon Group, emphasized how public art can transform urban spaces by fostering community identity.
Terminal 2 aims to merge cultural experiences with infrastructure, said Hari Marar, CEO of BIAL. This installation is part of their vision to present the airport as a global connector deeply rooted in creativity and diversity.
