Gaming firm Metasports Interactive announced on Monday that it has secured a $20 million capital injection from London-based growth financing firm Metica. The funding aims to accelerate the international growth of Metasports Interactive's multiplayer cricket game, Hitwicket, by enhancing marketing, user acquisition, and technology.
This investment will allow Metasports Interactive to target approximately 8x growth over the next 18 months, leveraging intensive marketing in key international markets and AI-driven targeting strategies.
Additionally, a technology partnership with Metica will enable the company to deploy its proprietary platform to boost Hitwicket's in-game revenue performance, bolstering its competitive edge globally.
