Integrating Abroad: Hosabale's Call for Unity

RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale has called for Indians living abroad to deepen their integration into local societies while staying connected to their Indian roots. In a conversation with PTI Videos, he emphasized unity within the diaspora and underscored the importance of community contribution to host nations.

Addressing concerns over Indians displaying their cultural identity too prominently, Hosabale suggested that the diaspora should focus on showing allegiance to their adopted countries without abandoning their heritage. Referring to a large statue in Texas that stirred local unease, he stated that such expressions are legal and reflect the community's significant cultural investments.

Despite economic growth and increasing recognition in host countries, the Indian diaspora's philanthropic contributions lag behind similar-sized communities. Hosabale encouraged Indians abroad to enhance their community impact by leveraging their increasing prosperity and fostering unity through organizations like the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh.
